Decreasing scaling of the analog output (non-safety-related function)
Setting Description
4mA
•
With the 4mA setting, the distance value to
be output with 4mA at the analog output
can be set manually in millimeters.
•
The Teach function can be used to teach in
for the 4mA … 20mA output function the
current distance value for an analog output
of 4mA for the measured value.
20mA
•
With the 20mA setting, the distance value to
be output with 20mA at the analog output
can be set manually in millimeters.
•
The Teach function can be used to teach in
for the 4mA … 20mA output function the
current distance value for an analog output
of 20mA for the measured value.
Example analog output parameterization for Q2:
1. Connect to the device and switch to the Outputs settings page in SOPASET.
2. Set the Q2 switching function to 4mA ... 20mA.
3. Enter the distance to switching point1 in the input window (optional: position the
object at switching point1 and perform a Teach ).
2)
4. Enter the distance to switching point2 in the input window (optional: position the
object at switching point2 and perform a Teach ).
2)
5. Transfer parameters the device using the “Write all parameters” button.
6. Check whether the function works appropriately for the configured parameters!
2)
For a decreasing behavior, the distance for 20mA must be smaller than the distance for 4mA.
