GENIUS 2.2 PANIC, Electromechanical mul-point lock

In order to check the funconality, the door and the door frame
must be posioned vercally.
Adhere to the screw torque specied by the producer
Check whether the prole cylinder complies with the specica-
on in chapter 2.2.
If sness is determined during the funconality test, observe
the following points:
check the ghtening torque of the xing screws on the handle
set and/or the prole cylinder lock.
Screws must not be screwed in too ghtly or over ghtened.
Screws should also not be screwed in at an angle. This is to
avoid the screw head blocking the drive rod behind it.
Adjustment of frame parts and AT piece.
 
 


Turn the key in the locking direcon unl all locking
elements are extended.
f
Press the lever handle/push bar down fully.
All locking elements must retract completely.
The latch must extend completely again aer the lever
handle/ push bar is released.
The lever handle/ push bar must return to its original
posion by itself.
 -

Turn the key in the cylinder lock in the locking direc-
on.
All locking elements must extend completely and
smoothly.
Remove the key while the locking elements are
retracted.
f
Turn the key in the cylinder lock in the unlocking
direcon (cylinder operated lock E).
The locking elements and the latch must retract
smoothly and completely.
Bring the key into the withdrawal posion.
The latch must extend completely again aer the key is
released.
f
Turn the key in the cylinder lock in the unlocking
direcon (switching funcon B).
The locking elements and the latch must retract
smoothly and completely.
Press the outside lever handle down fully.
The latch must extend completely again aer the lever
handle is released.
 

Close the door.
f
Repeat the test step "Funconal test when the door
is open“
All locking elements must extend and retract freely in
the frame parts.
 
f
Switch on the supply voltage
f
Switch the GENIUS 2.2 PANIC to night operaon via
the buon (lights up blue).
 

f
Close the door.
GENIUS 2.2 PANIC moves to the locking posion.
f
Press the lever handle/push bar down fully.
All locking elements must retract completely.
The latch must extend completely again aer the
lever handle/ push bar is released.
The lever handle/ push bar must return to its
original posion by itself. Press the lever handle
down fully.

Close the door.
GENIUS 2.2 PANIC moves to the locking posion.
f
Turn the key in the cylinder lock in the unlocking
direcon (cylinder operated lock E).

smoothly and completely.
f
Bring the key into the withdrawal posion.
The latch must extend completely again aer the
key is released.
f
Turn the key in the cylinder lock in the unlocking
direcon (switching funcon B).
The locking elements and the latch must retract
smoothly and completely.

Press the outside lever handle down fully.
The latch must extend completely again aer the
lever handle is released.
