Operator controls
The following operator controls are available on the 3RM1 motor starter for parameter
assignment and operation:
● Rotary coding switch with adjusting scale for current setting "I

You set the rated operational current of the load "I
e
" with the rotary coding switch.
● "TEST/RESET/RESET MODE" button:
You can start different function tests with the "TEST/RESET/RESET MODE" button. You
can find details about this in the section "Carrying out the function test (Page 39)".
Following an overload trip, the 3RM1 motor starter can be reset using the button after
three minutes have elapsed. You can find details about this in the section "Setting the
RESET method (Page 100)".
