4.9 Initializing the detector
After the fine-tuning of the detector optics, the detector must be initialized with the
hood screwed on.

w The detector line is switched on.
w Setting of the detector optics is complete.
1.
Remove the sealing plug(1) from the hood.
2.
Connect the MC link cable to the socket(2) of the detector.
a The standardized signal value and the detection distance are displayed in
the 'Adjust' menu on the adjustment device. Example:
