Entering Names, Phone Numbers, and Additional Information
Press the Edit key; check line six on the display
or
Press the Menu key, select “New entry” and
press “Enter” to confirm your selection.
Make your entries; each line can contain a maxi-
mum of twenty-two characters. You can use the
keys to move the cursor
(underline) in the display. You can use the
key to delete the last character entered or the
character located to the left of the cursor (under-
line).
Press “Enter” at the end of each line; the cursor
(underline) moves to the start of the next line.
Check line six on the display.
To save your entries, press the End key. If you do
not press the key, the entries are saved automati-
cally after ten minutes.

If you did not enter a name or keyword (at
least one letter) on the first line of the dis-
play, the “Enter name” prompt appears, or
you can press to close the ENB
function. Display lines two to five can re-
main blank.
Functions that you activate by pressing a
key (such as Program/Service or Internal)
can also be stored.
