Handsfree Answerback
You hear a beep (your telephone rings briefly) fol-
lowed by an announcement over the telephone
speaker. The name or number of the calling party
appears on the display.
1.
Lift the handset.
or
Confirm “Mute off?“ on the display.
or
Press the Mute key; the LED lights up.
2.
Conduct your call using the handset or speaker-
phone.

If handsfree answerback is enabled (

84),
you do not need to switch on the micro-
phone - you can answer directly. If hands-
free answerback is disabled, follow the
procedure described above.
