Tone Dialing (DTMF Dialing), DTMF Suffix-Dialing
You can use this function to transmit DTMF signals
(dual-tone multifrequency signaling) during a call,
for example to control an answering machine.
Whether automatic tone dialing is active or inactive
on your system determines whether you first have
to switch to tone dialing.
Automatic tone dialing is not active
During a connection, you must first switch to tone
dialing.
Automatic tone dialing is active
You can immediately transmit DTMF signals during
a connection.
