Cleaning the Telephone
z
Always use a damp or antistatic cloth to clean
the surface of the telephone. Never use a dry
cloth.
z
Use only diluted neutral cleaners containing
surfactants to clean very dirty telephones. Af-
terwards remove all traces of the cleaner with
a damp cloth (using water only).
z
Never allow the telephone to come into con-
tact with aggressive cleaning pastes or
agents that contain alcohol and attack plastic.
z
When cleaning your telephone, do not use
abrasive cleaning agents or chemicals that at-
tack plastic.
General Information

Never insert objects into the openings in the
equipment.
z
Use only optiset E local power supplies with
the power rating specified.
z
Use only the accessories recommended by
Siemens.
z
Siemens accepts no liability for consequential
loss, such as charges for connections which
have been set up inadvertently.
