Precondition:
You have a telephone that uses
tone dialing (DTMF dialing) or you can switch your
telephone to tone dialing. The telephone is not
connected to the system.
1.
Set up a connection to the system. Obtain the
number from your service technician.
2.
Wait for a continuous tone (if necessary switch the
telephone to tone dialing), then enter the internal
station number that has been assigned to you and
the associated PIN.
3.
Press the # key and wait for the dial tone (only nec-
essary if this is programmed in the system), other-
wise simply wait for the dial tone.
4.
Enter the code for the required function (make oth-
er inputs as necessary; refer also to the Operating
Instructions for pulse and DTMF telephones).
or
Dial the trunk code (such as 0 or 9) and the external
telephone number.
