Mounting and connecting the device
4.1 Mounting the device
4.1.1 Mounting position
The installation should provide a dry environment for the LOGO! CIM. SELV/PELV circuits are
considered to provide protection against electric shock in dry locations.
The CIM installation dimensions are compliant with DIN 43880.
CIM can be snap-mounted to 35 mm DIN rails according to EN 60715 or mounted on the wall
with two M4 screws.
LOGO! CIM has a width of 71.5 mm.

Always switch off power before you remove or insert an expansion module.
The device is approved for indoor operation only.
Installation location - Dependency of the temperature range
The upper and lower ventilation slits of CIM cannot be covered, allowing adequate
ventilation. Above and below the module, there must be a clearance of 25 mm to allow air
to circulate and prevent overheating.
