2.4.3 optiPoint 500 signature module (HiPath 4000 only)
I2C Bus Memory Cards
Customized, programmable I2C cards are required for using signature modules. These can be
obtained from Siemens AG: Rainer.eickholt@fthw.siemens.de (see Section 9.3)
The optiPoint 500 signature module is a chip card
reader add-on device for the basic, standard and
advance models.
The key module is a simple option for upgrading
an existing telephone to chip card technology.
