Removing the Device
To remove the device from a DIN rail, do the following:
1. Remove screws from the DIN rail adapters on both sides of the device.

2. Swing the bottom of the device away from the DIN rail.
3. Lift the device off the DIN rail.
2.3.3 Mounting the Device to a Panel
For panel installations, the RUGGEDCOM RSG2488 can be ordered with panel/DIN rail
adapters pre-installed on each side of the chassis. The adapters allow the device to
be attached to a panel using screws.
