The heat pump is released
only when the composite outside temperature lies above the
value set here. Below this outside temperature level, the amount of heat required must
be delivered by some other heat source (bivalent operation). This prevents poor
efficiency and thus uneconomical operation of the heat pump.
Forced storage tank buffer charge is used to required a forced charge of the storage
tank independent of demand (e.g. during low tariff period).

The heat pump s
witches on for a pending storage tank forced charge if the heat pump
is released via the parameter for
forced storage tank buffer charge. It maintains the
minimum off time as well as any active minimum runtime for the heat pump.
Locked
The heat pump is not put into operation for forced buffer storage tank charging.
Released
The heat pump can be put into operation for forced buffer storage tank charging.
The
buffer full charge applies to heating only. It triggers when the storage requirement
is missing to an
automatic heat generation lock. The full charge extends the runtime of
the heat pump.
