Switch-on command HP stage 1 (heating only)
By closing a contact connected to this input (e.g. by an external controller or a
superposed building automation and control system), stage 1 of the heat pump is put
into operation. It remains in operation until contact Hx opens again or until the heat
pump is shut down by a safety function (e.g. due to high-pressure, low-pressure, or hot-
gas temperature).
Internal requests, DHW req
uests and requests via bus are suppressed. No
consideration is given to minimum off time and minimum running time. The prerun and
overrun times of the condenser pump and source pump are taken into account. Normal
defrost is possible.
Switch-on command HP stage 2 (heating only)
By closing a contact connected to this input (e.g. by an external controller or a
superposed building automation and control system), stage 2 of the heat pump is put
into operation. It remains in operation until contact Hx opens again or until the heat
pump is shut down by a safety function (e.g. due to high-pressure, low-pressure, or hot-
gas temperature).
Internal requests, DHW req
uests and requests via bus are suppressed. No
consideration is given to minimum off time and minimum running time. The prerun and
overrun times of the condenser pump and source pump are taken into account. Normal
defrost is possible.
Pulse count
The basic unit provides two pulse inputs to interconnect externally installed electricity
meters, natural gas meters, heating meters or volume flow meters.
The pulses are interconnect using the multifunctional low-voltage inputs H1 and H3.
Configuration of the Hx input in the
Configuration menu is limited to activating the count
function:
Function input Hx = Pulse count.
The count (electricity, natural gas, heat) used must be parameterized on the
application, i.e. in the
Energy counter.
The parameter
Contact type Hx is not relevant to pulse count.
You cannot use input H2 on the extension module as pulse count input
Please observ
e the following for the "correct" recording of used electrical energy using
the external electricity counter:
The phase L (controller power) on the basic unit cannot be connected via the electricity
meter, otherwise all other
connected consumers (heating circuit pumps, DHW pump,
electrical immersion heat in the storage tank, etc) is counted as well.
