Requirements for installation and operation
A PG/PC with a network attachment must be available to configure the SCALANCE W784-
1xx / W74x-1. If no DHCP server is available, a PC on which the Primary Setup Tool (PST)
is installed is necessary for the initial assignment of an IP address to the SCALANCE W784-
1xx / W74x-1. For the other configuration settings, a computer with Telnet or an Internet
browser is necessary.
