5.6 Inserting / removing the C-PLUG

Follow the steps below to insert a C-PLUG in a SCALANCE W784-1xx / W74x-1:
1. Remove the cover of the slot.
2. The housing of the C-PLUG has a protruding long edge (position A). The C-PLUG can
only be inserted as shown in the figure above. The slot has a groove at this position.
Insert the C-PLUG into the slot.
3. Close the slot with the cover.
Removing the C-PLUG
1. Remove the cover of the slot.
2. Insert a screwdriver between the left-hand front edge of the C-PLUG and the slot and
release the C-PLUG. Remove the C-PLUG
3. Close the slot with the cover.
