4.2.1 SCALANCE XRH334/XRM334 with 8 SFP/SFP+ slots
4.2.1.1 24 V AC/DC device version
The following gure shows an overview of the components of a 24 V AC/DC device version of the
SCALANCE XRM334 with 8 SFP/SFP+ slots. The SCALANCE XRH334 device is identical in design
except that it has conformal-coated PCBs.
① Electrical ports with 10/100/1000 Mbps
② Slots for SFP/SFP+ plug-in transceiver with 1/10 Gbps
③ Electrical ports with 1/2.5/5/10 Gbps
④ Mounting brackets for 19" rack installation
⑤ Grounding bolt for connecting the protective grounding, on the back of the device
⑥ 24 V AC/DC power supply
⑦ Signaling contact
⑧ USB console interface (2.0 port, Type B, serial via USB)
⑨ CLP slot with an inserted CLP
⑩ "SELECT/SET" button
⑪ LED display
• Port LEDs
• LED "A" for the alarm display
• "L1/L2" LED for the power supply
• "RM" LED no function
• "CM" LED no function
• "DM1/DM2" LED for the display mode
