5.3.1 Installing accessories

Hazardous voltage
The front cover and terminal covers must only be removed when the circuit breaker is open.
Follow all safety instructions in Chapter AUTOHOTSPOT.
Put the circuit breaker into the OPEN position.
Discharge the stored energy mechanism.

The internal accessories are installed in the accessories area of the circuit breaker behind the
front cover. This is where all auxiliary and signaling switches that communicate states as well
as auxiliary solenoids and components that provide extra functionality are placed. This area
is local, functional, and therefore strictly physically segregated from areas of the device such
