Phase barriers
Phase barriers provide insulation between the individual phases of the circuit breaker. They are
installed in the front termination area between the phases of the xed-mounted breaker version.
Note
You will nd connections that necessitate mandatory insulation measures in Chapter Isolating
distances and insulating equipment (Page147).
In these cases, the measures are contained in the scope of delivery by default.
Rear connections of the xed-mounted breaker version and the entire withdrawable breaker do
not require insulation measures.
On the xed-mounted breaker version with rear connections, the low terminal cover
nevertheless permits optimum front touch protection.
