Adding a technology module to hardware configuration (Compact CPU)
Requirement
The project has been created.
Procedure
To add a Compact CPU to the project tree, follow these steps:
1. Double-click "Add new device".
The "Add new object" dialog opens.
2. Select Controller".
3. Select the Compact CPU:
"SIMATIC S7-1500 > CPU > Compact CPU > Article number"
4. Confirm with "OK".
Result
The new Compact CPU is displayed with the following objects in the project tree. Double-
click to open the required editor.
