Format
The SM 335 module diagnostic byte 1 contains group error information. Byte 1 has
the format shown in Figure 3-11.

Group fault
Bit 0 in module diagnostic byte 1 is set when the SM 335 flags an error/fault (the
only exception being: SM 335 not initialized).
Internal fault
Bit 1 is set in module diagnostic byte 1 when the SM 335 detects one of the follo-
wing:
• Watchdog
• EEPROM fault
• ADC/DAC error
