Detailed Description
2.5 Referencing with distance-coded reference marks
Reference Point Approach (R1)
Function Manual, 08/2005 Edition, 6FC5397-0BP10-0BA0
2-23
Warning
After the absolute offset is determined and an entry is made in machine data element:
MD34090 $MA_REFP _MOVE_DIST_CORR
the reference point approach for the machine axis is repeated.
Referencing methods
Referencing with distance-coded reference marks can be performed in one of two ways:
• Evaluation of two consecutive reference marks:
MD34200 $MA_ENC_REFP_MODE (referencing mode) = 3
Advantage:
– Short travel path
• Evaluation of four consecutive reference marks:
MD34200 $MA_ENC_REFP_MODE = 8
Advantage:
– Plausibility check by NC is possible
– Increase in reliability of referencing result
