Integrated Redundant Ethernet Interface (Port F)
The integrated Ethernet interface is available as an optical (2 x Duplex-LC 1300 nm) variant and can be config-
ured with or without integrated switch. It can be used for Ethernet-based protocol applications, for example,
IEC 61850, Modbus TCP, time synchronization via SNTP, network management via SNMP

, DIGSI 5 via TCP.
Several applications can run in parallel, whereby unused applications can be switched off for security reasons.
The maximum optically permitted distance via 50/125-µm or 62.5/125-µm multimode optical fibers is 2 km.
The optical transmission and receiving level is measured in the module and can be displayed with DIGSI 5.
