Replacing interface modules
The interface modules are located on the processor board C-CPU-1 (No. 1 in Figure 3-3 and 3-4).

Note
Surface-mounted devices with fibre optics connection have their fibre optics module fitted in the inclined
housing on the case bottom. The CPU module, however, has an RS232 interface module which communicates
electrically with the fibre optics module in the inclined housing.
