8.1 Connecting the function modules for direct-on-line start
8.1.1 Connecting the solid-state timing relay with semiconductor output
Connection types
The electronic timing relay with semiconductor output is connected via removable terminals
with the following connection options:
Screw-type
Spring-loaded
Connection
You will find information on connection of the screw-type and spring-loaded connection
terminals in the appendix entitled "References" under "Manuals - SIRIUS Modular System
(Page 74)" and in the "SIRIUS- System Overview" manual.
Note
During the mounting process, the
electronic timing relay is connected to coil terminals A1
and A2 at the same time (by means of plug
-in contacts). Contactor coil terminals which are
not required are not covered by the timing relay enclosure.
Avoid incorrect connection.
