Street wiring is terminated directly to the CTB via cage clamp terminal blocks. The CTB in turn
routes its connected signals to the CIC via DIN standard connectors.
The CIC is fitted with a metallic cover to provide a degree of protection from accidental contact.
However, there are no hazardous voltages present on the PCB.
