6.3.3 EXTERNAL SENSOR
If there is an external sensor, the hea-
tingsettingsSETcanbe takenfromthe
climaticcurvesaccordingtotheexternal
temperatureand,inanycase,limitedto
withtherangevaluesdescribedinpoint
3.2(parametersPAR13andPAR14).
The climatic curve to be set can be
selected from a value of 2,5 and 40 (at
step1).
Increasing the steepness of the curves
of fig. 18 will increase the output tem-
perature as the external temperature
decreases.
6.3.4 CARD FUNCTIONING
The electroniccard has the followingfun-
ctions:
–
Antifreeze protectionof the heating cir-
cuit.
– Ignitionandflamedetectionsystem.
– Control panel setting for the power
andthegasforboilerfunctioning.
–
Anti-jamming for the pump which is
fedforafewsecondsafter48hoursof
inactivity.
– Chimney sweep function which can
beactivatedfromthecontrolpanel.
– Flow temperaturecontrolwhich can
be shifted with the external sensor
connected.
Itcanbesetfromthecontrolpanel.
–
Automatic regulation of the igni-
tion power and maximum heating.
Adjustments are managed automati-
callybytheelectroniccardtoguaran-
tee maximum flexibility in use of the
system.
– Interface with the following electro-
nicsystems:remotecontrolCR73o

TEMPERATURE
DETECTION SENSOR
Table 3 shows the values obtained on
the heating sensor (SM1/SM2) is inter-
rupted, the boiler will not function for
both services.
This SENSOR must not be disabled or
bypassed at any time.
6.3.6 ELECTRONIC IGNITION
Ignition and flame detection is control-
led by a single electrode on the burner
whichguaranteesreactioninthecaseof

onesecond.
6.3.6.1 Functioning cycle
Burner ignition should occur within 10
secondsoftheopeningofthegasvalve.
Ifafterthreeattemptstheignitionisnot
detectedtheboilerwilllockout(ALL06):
– Lack of gas
The ignition electrode will dischar-
ge for a maximum of 10 seconds. If
afterthreeattemptstheignitionisnot
detected the boiler will lockout (ALL
06). This can happen the first time a
boiler is switched on, or after long
periods of inactivity. It can also be
causedbyaclosedgascockoragas
valvenotoperating.
– No ionisation
The boiler will spark for 10 seconds,
ifafter3attemptstheionisationisnot
detected, the boiler will lockout (ALL
