2.0 SAFETY FEATURES
The pressure washer is equipped with a stop device
that will sense when the trigger on the gun is released.
It will open the power circuit to the motor and cause
the pressure washer to stop.
WARNING: The pressure washer is
also equipped with a main power ON/
OFF switch located on the unit. It should
always be moved to the off position
when the pressure washer is not being
used to prevent possible injury or
damage.
MOTOR OVERLOAD
The electric motor in this pressure washer is equipped
with an overload protection device which will
automatically shut off the motor in the event the motor
draws excessive current or overheats.
The device will automatically reset itself and resume
normal operation after a short period of time.
EXTENSION CORDS
WARNING: Extension cords are not
recommended unless they are plugged
into a ground-fault circuit-interrupter
found in circuit boxes or protected
receptacles.
Use only 3-wire extension cords that have 3-prong
grounding-type plugs and 3-pole cord connector that
accept the plug from the product.
Use only extension cords that are intended for outdoor
use. These extension cords are identified by a marking
Acceptable for use with outdoor appliances; store
indoors while not in use.
Use only extension cords having an electrical rating
higher than the rating of the product.
Do not use damaged extension cords.
Examine extension cord before using and replace if
damaged.
Do not abuse extension cord and do not yank on any
cord to disconnect.
Keep cord away from heat and sharp edges.
Always disconnect the extension cord from the
receptacle before disconnecting the product from the
extension cord.

2.0 CARACTÉRISTIQUES DE SÉCURITÉ
Le pulvérisateur est muni dun dispositif darrêt qui
capte le relâchement de la détente du pistolet. Ce
dispositif ouvre le circuit dalimentation du moteur
et arrête le pulvérisateur.
MISE EN GARDE : Le boîtier du
pulvérisateur est également muni dun
interrupteur principal qui doit toujours
être placé à la position darrêt (OFF) après
usage afin déviter les blessures ou les
dommages.
RALLONGES
MISE EN GARDE : Lutilisation dune
rallonge est déconseillée, à moins quelle
ne soit branchée au disjoncteur de fuite à
la terre dun boîtier électrique ou dune
prise de courant.
Utilisez uniquement une rallonge à trois fils munie
dune fiche à trois broches et dune prise tripolaire
pouvant recevoir la fiche de lappareil.
Utilisez uniquement une rallonge prévue pour un usage
à lextérieur portant une mention du type : convient
aux appareils pour usage à lextérieur; ranger à
lintérieur après usage.
Utilisez uniquement une rallonge dont le calibre est
supérieur à la puissance nominale de lappareil.
Nutilisez pas une rallonge endommagée.
Vérifiez la rallonge avant de lutiliser et remplacez-la
si elle est endommagée.
Nutilisez pas une rallonge à des fins abusives et ne
tirez pas sur son cordon pour la débrancher.
Tenez la rallonge éloignée de la chaleur et des objets
tranchants.
Débranchez toujours la rallonge de la prise de courant
avant de débrancher lappareil de la rallonge
SURCHARGE DU MOTEUR
Le moteur électrique de ce pulvérisateur est muni dun
dispositif de protection contre la surcharge qui arrête
automatiquement le moteur si ce dernier appelle un
courant excessif ou quil surchauffe.
Ce dispositif se réenclenche automatiquement et
reprend son fonctionnement normal après une courte
période dattente.
