8. Install the center section and motor assembly. This
procedure will require a number of things to be done
in the proper sequence. Be sure to pre-lubricate
parts before or as you assemble them, as it can
make assembly easier and prevent any damage dur-
ing assembly.
• Drop the stationary brake plate in place. Notice that
it is tapered and the tapered end goes into the top
case.
