CHEC K:
Th e safety inter lock should pre vent the work
cl omp from being lifted when mach ine is in ope r ation
and should prevent machi ne from start ing when work
clomp is raised.
SETTING:
Engage mach in e in nrun" pos tion and turn ana-
chire pulley over towa rd right until knife roller is
at extreme outw ard position on feed com as shown in
Fig. 18.
Loosen driving l&ver pi n ch screw, Fig. 19 ond
lift up on driven arm with sc rew drive r to bring lifting
lug against bock of bell cran k os shown.
Ma in ta in this position while tightening pinch
screw securely.
Then rotate machine pulley again until the point
is reached just befo re interlocking arm drops in to
notch on pulley ("stop" position).
