SETTING:
With point of hook at centerline of needle, re-
move face plate and looson needle bar pinch screw
shown ir Fig. 39.
Raise or l ower need le bar as required to position
h ook point at top of needle eye . Securely tighten
needle bar pinch screw and replace face p late.
NOTE: A gouge for sotting needle bor height is
available upon specif1c r•quest at additional c,orge.

engaged position ond compress push rod spring by
push1ng 1n on lover ornl until heavier bios of connec·
tion o;pring is felt. Hold this position wh ile tighten ing
lovar arm pinch screw.
Adjust lor POSITIVE CLAMPING ACTIOH o
reUricflng spring by turnmg knurled nut as required.
T.,en t1ghten lock screw on knurled nut and replace
cylinder arm cover.
