and rotating the com tow ar d le ft (as viewed from the
bottom of mac hine) to speed up t he l ongi tudin al fee d
io re la tion to needle move ment, or to ward right to

ow down t he feed in relation to n ee d le m oveme nt.
When adjustme nt is correct ly se t, securel y ti ght-

LATERA L SETTIHG
Latera l feed moveme nt is tim ed by looseni ng the
st ud nut on l ateral r ock s ha ft roller show n in Fig .
33 and m ov ing roller to the l eft (as vi ewed fr om lop)
to s low down the latera l feed in rel ation to nee d le
m ove ment or toward right to spee d up the feed in
re l ation to need le movem en t .
When adjustment is correctly set, secure ly tig hten
stud n ut .
