5.4-5 Jib Rotary Actuator Bolt Torque
Sequence
1. Park the MEWP on a firm level surface in the
stowed position.
2. Disconnect one of the main power connectors.
3. Set the torque wrench to 23 Nm (17 ft-Ib) and
tighten the mounting bolts in a criss-cross
pattern sequence.

4. Set the torque wrench to 47 Nm (35 ft-Ib)
and tighten the mounting bolts with the same
sequence.
5. Torque the center bolt to 1044 Nm (770 ft-lb).

Torque Sequence
