8.14 Cooling failure alarm
A problem with the air pump cooling is signaled by the red indicator and the acoustic
alarm.
In the event of the cooling failure alarm it is necessary to ensure an alternate
air pressure source is available before disconnecting the compressor.
8.15 Cleaning the compressor
The exterior surfaces can be wiped cleaned using a warm water/detergent solution
(as prescribed by the appropriate hospital authority) using a clean, disposable,
absorbent, non-shedding cloth. The exterior surfaces should be wiped dry with a
clean, disposable, absorbent, non-shedding cloth.
Please do not clean the compressor using a solutions containing abrasive
components or chemical solvents.
8.16 Cleaning the filter
The air intake filter is located at the front of the compressor. the filter must be
cleaned or changed every 200 hours, or more frequently if the compressor is
located in a particularly dusty atmosphere. When removing the filter from the box
use the handles and pull it out. Either wash the filter or change for a new one if
necessary. When replacing the filter make sure that the filter covers the air hole.
