  If your Smeg Dishwasher dishes are not drying properly, it could be due to unsuitable rinse aid or incorrect delivery, or water hardness being above 12°dF or large amounts of dissolved salts. Check the rinse aid container to ensure it's suitable for your water type. Try restoring T Stop ON and/or connecting the appliance to a hot water supply. If the problem persists, contact the after-sales service.

  If the washing program on your Smeg Dishwasher does not start, it could be because the dishwasher has not yet finished filling; wait for the word FILL to disappear. Alternatively, if the word CLOSE remains on the display even with the door closed, call the after-sales service.

  Inadequate rinsing in your Smeg Dishwasher can be caused by unsuitable rinse aid or incorrect delivery, or the rinsing temperature being too low. Check the container of rinse aid and whether it is suitable for the type of mains water. Check boiler temperature setting. If the problem persists, contact the after-sales service.

  If there is water in the tank of your Smeg Dishwasher after pump-out, the drain hose may be incorrectly positioned or partially obstructed. Check that the dishwasher hose and drain are unobstructed and the drain is not too high up; see connection diagram.

Check the type and quantity of detergent you are using. * There may be no or not enough detergent or rinse aid being supplied because the pipe inside the detergent and/or rinse aid peristaltic pump is worn or broken.
