7.5.2 Alarms
We list the dishwasher's alarms below, divided into "FATAL" and "NON-FATAL".
- In the first case, FATAL ALARMS the control panel displays "AF" followed by the alarm code.
- In the second case, NON-FATAL ALARMS, these are simple warnings and not malfunctions; the
message "A-" displays, followed by the alarm code. Press Start/Pause to continue using the machine.
ALARM EVENTS - READ CAREFULLY
When an alarm event occurs, the dishwasher automatically runs a safety shutdown. In such cases, the
alarm code on the display flashes until automatic handling has terminated: THE MACHINE CANNOT
BE RESET when it is in this condition.
Any RESET forced by the user will not be accepted until the problem has been dealt with and the
alarm code on the display is “steady”.
When an alarm is reported: Identify the code and its meaning in this table, along with the
suggested countermeasures. Apply the countermeasures for the case in question.
The user is typically required to proceed as follows:
1. First execute the DEFAULT PROCEDURE.
2. If the alarm does not cancel itself, execute the RESTORE PROCEDURE.
