13. A dialogue box will appear asking if you are sure
you want to apply these changes. If you are sure
you want these changes click on the <Yes> but-
ton.
14. Click on the <Done> button to exit back to the
main menu.
15. Before these changes can take affect it will be
necessary to synchronize the System Administra-
tor PC to the Toolboxes. From the main menu
click on the <Synchronize> button. A progress
bar will appear and show the progress. After this
stops the Administrator PC and ALL toolboxes
will be synchronized.
16. Test the system by scanning each ID card on the
scanner mounted on the front of each toolbox.
ADDING USER PHOTOS
The ATC system has the capability to display the
users photo as additional identication if desired or
required. To add photos follow these instructions:
1. Click on “Maintenance” and select “Set Employee
Access Permissions”
2. Click on “Load Employee’s Picture” as shown by
the arrow to the right.
3. A Windows® Explorer box opens that
allows the Administrator to browse to
the location of stored photos.
4. A subdirectory is provided in the
“Snap-on” directory on the C: drive.
Select the desired photo and click on
Open to save the photo. See screen shot to the
right.
NOTE: Photos can be copied to the directory up
to 1mb in size and in most common bit map for-
mats such as BMP, JPG, PNG, etc. We recom-
mend using JPG.
Photos of the user will not show up on the tool box
until each box is synchronized.
NOTE: If this is the rst time photos are added to
employee permissions you will be asked to select
a location to store the employee photos. The sys-
tem will copy all employee photos to this location.
