ATC BOX OPERATION
Once all system setup requirements have been met the box is ready for normal operation and tool usage. Box operation
is simple and straight forward for use of use. Turn the power to the on position via a power switch on the rear of the cabi-
net adjacent to the power cord. The unit will require several moments to boot up.
The user will pass his ID card in front of the RF ID reader
located on the right front of the box top.
NOTE: The card shown is the “Master Admin Badge” sup-
plied with the system. Your actual card may vary.
If the system has multiple work locations setup the rst
screen to appear will require the logging in user to select the
work location.
Once the box recognizes the user the main screen will dis-
play additional functions as well as show the current user
and his/her photo if supplied.
The logged in user can now perform functions that are per-
missible under his login. The user can now remove and
return tools as required while the box records tool activity.
The screen to the right is the home screen when no one is
logged into the system. Only two functions are allowed with
no login, “Tools Out” and “Tool Search”.
Tools out shows a list of all tools currently checked out of the
box. Tool Search allows a user to search for a specic tool
in the box inventory.
When desired to access more functions and features as well
as check out tools, a user must have permissions set up by
the box Administrator.
