What should I do if my Solcon Controller displays O/C – SHEAR PIN?
    • K
      Katie SmithAug 23, 2025
If the Solcon Controller shows an O/C – SHEAR PIN error, make sure that the motor isn't stalled or jammed. Check the FLA and FLC settings. Inspect the motor and cable connections. Perform a 'Megger' test to verify the condition of the motor and cable.

What does it mean if my Solcon RVS-DN 310 displays PHASE LOSS?
    • A
      Amy CookAug 25, 2025
If your Solcon Controller indicates a PHASE LOSS: 1) Ensure the current transformers are not grounded. 2) Check phase voltages related to terminal 21. 3) Verify terminal 21 is correctly connected. 4) If correctly connected, disconnect terminal 21 and attempt to start. 5) If the issue persists, set PHASE LOSS Y/N protection to NO. Note that doing so means the motor will single phase if a true PHASE LOSS occurs. 6) Be aware that phase loss might not be detected in motor operating under a light load.
