Check the circuits surrounding the
FLD DD CONVERTER.
If NG, then replace the FR board.
Is there voltage of about 5.8V at
Emitter Q709 ?
No
Check the "LED Switch Surround
check"
If NG, then replace the FR board.
Yes Yes
Is there voltage of 3.3V at Pin 43 of
IC702 ?
No
Check the 3.3V line of the FR board.
Is there voltage of 3.3V at Pin 43 of
IC702 ?
No
Check the 3.3V line of the FR board.
Yes Yes
Is pin 5 of IC702 oscillating?
No
Replace IC702. If no effect, replace
the FR board.
Is pin 1 and pin2 of IC702 about
3.3V?
No
Replace IC702.
If no effect, replace the FR board.
Yes Yes
Is there input of pulse to pins 7, 8 and
9 of IC702?
No
Replace FFC between FR and MB.
If no effect, then goto "IFD flow"
Replace Q711 and Q710, if no effect
then replace FR board
Yes
Check connection of FLD and IC702.
Replace IC702 if OK.
If no effect, replace the FL board.

Is the potential of pin 3 of Q704 5.8V?

Check the 5.8V line of the FR board.
Yes
Is the potential of the base of Q704
around 5V?
Yes
Is the collector voltage of Q703 about
0V?
No
Is the voltage of the base of Q703 at
3.3V?
No
Is pin 7 of CN701 at 3.3V?
No
Replace FFC, and Check pattaern
near IC1403 of MB board. Replace
IC1403 or MB board if NG.
