This item appears ottly whett a "Memory Stick Due" is inserted in the camera.
The default settings are marked "with _.
Formats the "Memory Stick Duo". A commercially available "Memory Stick Duu" is already
furmatted, aud can be used immediately.
• Note that R_rmatting irrevocably erases all data on a "Memory Slick Duo", including even protected
images.
OK See the l_)llowing procedure.
Cancel Cancels the formalling.
(_) Select IOKI with • on the control button, then press 0.
The message 'All data in MemoD' Stick will be erased Ready'?" appears.
(g) Select [OK] with •, then press _.
The lummt is complete.

A new folder is created wilh a number incremented one higher than Ihe hugesl number, and the
fokler becomes the current recording folder.

When not creating a new lblder, the "101MSDCF" fl)lder is selecled as the recording lolder,
You can create folders designated up to "999MSDCE"
Images are recorded in the newly created lk)lder until a ditli:rent folder is created or selected.
You cannot delete a lolder wilh the camera. To delete a lolder, use your conlpuler, etc.
Up to 4,000 images can be stored in one folder. When the folder capacity is exceeded, a new Iolder is
automatically created.
