Cleaning the LCD screen
Wipe tile screen surface with an LCD cleaning kil
(not supplied) to remove fingerprints, dust, etc.
Cleaning the lens
Wipe tile lens with a soil ch)th to rcnlo_.e
fingerprints, dusl, etc,
Cleaning the camera surface
Clean the camera surface with +1soil cloth slightly
inoistened with witter, then wipe tile stlllace with
a dry cloth. Do not use tile lollowing as they may
damage the finish or file casing.
• ChemicM products such as thinner, benzine,
alcohol, disposable cloths, insect repellent,
sunscreen or insecticide, etc.
• Do not [Ollch tile camera wilh tile above on yollr
band.
• Do not leave the camera ill contact with rubber
or vinyl lot a long time.
_ Onoperatingtemperatures
Your camera is designed lor u_ under the
temperatures between 0°C and 40°C (32°F mid
104°F). Shooting ill extrenlcly cold or hot places

N Onmoisturecondensation
If tile cmnel'a is brought directly h'om a cold to a
warln location, lllOiSttlrc hilly condense inside or
outside tile camera. This moisture condensatkm

Moisture condensation occurs easily
when:
• Tile camera is brought li'onl a cold location such
as a ski slope into a warmly heated room,
• Tile camera is taken h'oln an air-conditioned
rooln or car inlerior 1o lhe ]lol outdoors, elc.
How to prevent moisture condensation
When bringing tile calncrn li'om a coM place to it
warm place, se+d tile camera ill a plw,tic bag and
allow it to adapt to conditions at tile new location

If moisture condensation occurs
Turn off tile cmncra and wait about an hour for tile
moisture to e_,iq?orate+Note that il you attempt to
shoot with moisture remaining inside tile ]ells, yOU
will be unable to record dear images,
