Images are printed with both edges cut off.
• When you print m image shot x_ith the image size set to [ 16:9(HDTV)], both edges of the
image may be cut off.
• When printing images using your own printer, try canceling the trimming or borderless
settings. Consult the printer manufacturer as to whether the printer provides these fimctions or
not.
• When having images printed at a digital print shop, ask the shop whether they can print the
images without cutting off bolh edges.
A connection cannot be established.
• The camera cannot be connected directly to a printer that is not compliant _ith the PictBridgc
standard. Consult the printer manufacturer as to whether the printer is compliant with
PictBridge or not.
• Check that the printer ix turned on and can be connected to the camera.
• Set [USB Connect] to [PictBridge] in the _ (Setup) menu (page 53).
• Disconnect mdconnect the cable for multi-use terminal again. If an error message is
indicated on the printer, refer to Ihe operating instructions supplied with the printer.
Nothing appears on the camera screen when a USB connection is made.
• The swilch on the cable for muhi-use lerminal is set IoTV". Set to CAMERA" (page 71).
Cannot print images.

• Movies cannot be printed.
• hnages shot using cameras other than Ihis camera or images modified wilh a computer may
not be printed.
Printing is canceled.
• You disconneclcd Ihc cable lk)r muhi-use terminal before Ihc @ (Do not disconnect cable
for mulli-use lerminal) mark disappears.
