Operating power
Symptoms Cause Remedy
The unit does not power
on when you press the
On/Standby button.
No DC power is being connected. Use a DC power cable to connect to a DC power
source.
The On/Standby button is
blinking orange.
A power overload may have
occurred.
Disconnect the DC power cable, and check the
camera cable and connections to other devices.
Shooting
Symptoms Cause Remedy
The camera output picture
is not output.
The camera head is not firmly
connected to the CCU.
Check the camera head connection.
The setting of “Country” in the
OTHERS menu differs from the
setting of your video monitor.
Correct the setting of “Country” (see page 41) in the
OTHERS menu.
The camera output picture
is distorted or does not
display properly.
The camera head is not firmly
connected to the CCU.
Disconnect the DC power cable, and check the
connections.
Other troubles
Symptoms Cause Remedy
Button operations on the
front panel have no effect.
The LOCK button is turned on. Turn the LOCK button off.
The unit is being controlled from a
computer connected to the REMOTE
connector.
Cancel control from the computer or disconnect the
REMOTE connector, and then restart this unit.
