Using the 8 mm deck and VHS deck at
the same time
Using one deck while the other is playing back a tape
1 Press Video8 or VHS to select the deck that is not in use.
2 Use the selected deck.
Using one deck while the other is recording
1 Press Video8 or VHS to select the deck that is not in the r ecording
mode.
2 Use the selected deck.
Using one deck while the other is standing by for
timer recording or proceeding timer recording
1 Press Video8 or VHS to select the deck that is not in use.
2 Use the selected deck.
While one deck is standing by for timer r ecor ding or pr oceeding timer
recording, the other deck can only play back a r ecorded tape and r ecord the
line input sour ce.
Note
You cannot r ecord two TV pr ogrammes at the same time, or use both decks at the
same time to r ecord one line input sour ce.
