8. Once the rear shock mounng hardware has been reinstalled, torque the 10mm cap nut to 12N-m
(106in-lb). Gently return the rear triangle/suspension to it’s full extended posion by pulling
downward near the rear axle and remove the protecve cloth towel from the linkage.
9. Swing the forward eyelet of the shock into the mounng tabs on the top tube. Reinstall the shock pin
with the head on the drive side. Install and torque the screw to 10-11 N-m (88-97in-lb).
