5 List of evidences
The Safety Case Database stores all the informations related to the safety analysis performed to derive the
results and conclusions reported in this Safety Manual.
In detail, the Safety Case Database is composed of the following:
• Safety Case with the full list of all safety analysis related documents
• ST internal FMEDA tool database for the computation of the safety metrics, including the estimated and
measured values
• Safety Report, the document that describes in detail the safety analysis executed on STM32F2 Series
devices and the clause-by-clause compliance to IEC 61508
• ST internal fault injection campaign database including tools configuration and settings, fault injection logs
and results
Due to presence of ST confidential information, above-described contents are not publicly available and are
available for possible competent bodies audit and inspections. This is in line with the clarification of Note 2 on
IEC61508:2, 7.4.9.7 requirement.
