06 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
SERVICE MANUAL MARINE ENGINES
06.01.02 Replace alternator
Preparatory work: turn off engine, disconnect battery
1 Disconnect two cables (ill. 1/pos.1+2).
2 Remove belt.
3 Loosen screws (ill.2/pos.1+2), remove alternator.
NOTE: Assembly is done in reverse order.
For 4 cyl. engines only
Connections ill.3/1 B+ battery

ill.3/2 D+ charging control (L1)
ill.3/3 DF D-field (rotor winding)
ill.3/4 D+ on governor
For 4 cyl engines only
