Function of DIP-Switches
Factory settings for the DIP-Switch are position OFF.
Adjustable functions for ON setting
DIP-Switch 1: Motor timing device is switched off (VdS function)
DIP-Switch 2: Motor output permanently switched on
DIP-Switch 3: Central control system door locking function with magnetic clamps or magnetic latches
DIP-Switch 4: “Fire Alarm System Open” and “Reset via 1 x normally open contact (NO)
DIP-Switch 5: “Fire Alarm System Open” via normally closed contact (NC)
DIP-Switch 6: Actuation limit
DIP-Switch 7: Malfunction = SHE activation
DIP-Switch 8: SHE Closed (on the SHE operating station) = SHE-Reset
DIP-Switch 9: Ventilation in inching mode of operation (deadman button)
DIP-Switch 10: STOP function with key-operated ventilation button
DIP-Switch 11: No function
DIP-Switch 12: Automatic closure system, automatic closure
Combinations of various DIP-Switch settings are possible, e.g. DIP-Switch 1 = ON and 8 = ON.
DIP-Switches
Attention: Perform all settings to the DIP switches without mains supply (230 V AC) and without
batteries connected.
Position ON, means:
DIP-Switch 1: Motor timing device is switched off (in SHE for 30 min, VdS function).
DIP-Switch 2: Motor output permanently switched on for operation with magnetic clamps to reinforce the locking force
of the drives (sealed closure of windows). Battery is not buffered. Switched off in the factory, thus motor outputs are
switched off after approx. 3 minutes.
DIP-Switch 3: Function of the control panel to secure the door with magnetic clamps and on site provided door closer
or SHE-Open with magnetic lockets with on site provided gas springs. At the motor exit is permanent voltage, this will be
switched off in case of SHE.
DIP-Switch 4:ArealarmsystemtriggeringviaaclosecontactwithaBMAconnectiontotheterminalsofthesmokede-
tektor and monitoring module UEB3-1K. The UEB3-1K module must be installed in the BMA. A reset is performed by the
sameBMAcontactwithaopencommand.FirealarmsystemcontactcloseddenotesSHEactivation,realarmsystem
contactOpen=SHE-Resetandalsoclosureoftheaps/windows.Acombinationwithanautomaticwarningdeviceis
possible,buttheResetwillhavetobedonesolelyviaSHE-Resetbuttonofthecompactcontrolpanelorwhencongura-
tion DIP-Switch 8 = ON additionally via Close-button of an SHE-manual calling point.
In a BMA activation (BMA-contact close) and simultaneous wire break in the BMA cable line there is no reset but a fault
(4ashes).
