3.2 Battery
Test the battery with the ADG 1 analyzer, see @ 4
Condition Cause Remedy
Battery cannot be pushed fully
home
Battery inserted wrong way round, guide
lugs on cover broken
Fit new cover and check contacts.
Battery does not engage when
pushed into the machine
Contacts bent Check contacts
Battery remains in same position
after being unlocked – it is not
ejected
Guides very dirty, battery jammed Clean the guides.
Spring damaged Check the spring
Battery is not being charged even
though LED on charger glows
green
Battery too hot / too cold (1 LED on battery
glows red)
Allow battery to cool down / warm up bat-
tery slowly at temperature of about 15°C -
20°C (60°F - 70°F) ; operate charger in
dry conditions, indoors only at tempera-
tures between 5°C - 40°C (40°F - 105°F)
